How far in advance should we book?

For Signature and Destination weddings, 9–14 months. For Intimate weddings, 4–6 months. We only sign on 18 weddings a year — peak-season Saturdays book 14+ months out.
Do you take a markup on vendors?

No. Vendor invoices flow through your Razorpay dashboard at cost. We make our money on the planning fee, not on hidden vendor commissions. Every quote shows our line item separately so you can audit it.
Will Ananya personally be involved?

Ananya leads every Signature and Destination wedding personally — discovery call, design language, vendor selection, on-the-day wedding-week war-room. For Intimate weddings, she stays advisory and a senior planner runs day-of.
Can you accommodate religious traditions and family customs?

Yes — that's what most clients hire us for. We have a 47-page family-rituals checklist that we walk through in the discovery call: dadi's gota-patti tradition, mama-ji's milni cue, the specific samagri for your gotra. Nothing on autopilot.
Do you do destination weddings outside India?

Yes — we have done weddings in Phuket, Bali, Sri Lanka, Dubai, and Tuscany. Site-visit travel for one founder + one producer is included in Destination package. For Marquee Destination ($2 cr+) we do a 3-day full pre-prod visit.
What's your fee structure?

Fixed planning fee (10–18% of total wedding spend, sliding scale by package size) + cost pass-through on vendors. 25% retainer at sign-on, 50% three months pre-wedding, 25% one week pre-wedding. No surprise invoices, no day-of cash arrangements.
Can you work with our existing décor or photographer?

Yes — many couples come with one or two locked-in vendors. We integrate them into our run-sheet, share your design language with them, and only push back if there's a specific risk. We've never refused a wedding because of a couple's prior vendor commitments.
What's the cancellation / rescheduling policy?

COVID taught us empathy. Reschedules within 24 months of original date carry no penalty if vendors agree (most do). Outright cancellation forfeits the 25% retainer to cover work-already-done. No litigation, no drama — we believe a wedding planner should never be a stress source.
Do you handle hospitality for out-of-town guests?

Yes — guest travel coordination, airport pickup, hotel block negotiation, welcome bags, and a dedicated guest-hospitality desk during the wedding. Standard in Destination package, add-on in Signature, ad-hoc in Intimate.
